Fundraising ensures our children receive a high-quality, well-rounded elementary education at Westwood Charter. WISE pays for a class size reduction teacher, teaching assistants for all classrooms, instructional materials, enrichment programs like Art, Music, Technology, Gardening, P.E, and more.

The projected expenses for 24-25 are $815,000.

Main Fundraising Activities

WESTIE'S ANNUAL GIVING

Our most important fundraiser, WAG brings in about 2/3rds of our revenue. The suggested tax-deductible donation is $1350 per student. We realize that might not be feasible for some, but we ask that all families participate and contribute an amount that is meaningful to them. 

CORPORATE MATCH

Many large companies, including Google, Disney, Mattel, Amgen, Pfizer, Goldman Sachs, and many others offer corporate matching for WAG. Check Double the Donation to see what your company offers.

JOG-A-THON - January 25, 2025 

Classes compete by grade level to raise funds for our PE program. Children show their school spirit by jogging with their classes at this popular event. 

AUCTION

Our spring auction is our second largest fundraiser and includes an adults only gala as well as an online auction, where WWC families can bid on donated items, kids activities, and one-of-a-kind experiences.

PARTY BOOKS (PARTIES WITH A PURPOSE)

Get to know other WWC families while raising money for our school! Hosts pay for the party, and attendance fees go entirely to funding our programs.

Do you run a business? Contact us to learn about tax-deductible sponsorship opportunities including thank you banners and involvement at school events. 

ART BANNERS

Promote your business to WWC families with a banner around the perimeter around the school.  Your logo will be displayed alongside artwork from our students.
