Scholastic Book Fair - September 20-27, 2024

Many of us have fond memories of the Scholastic Book Fair from when we were kids, and now we get to share that with our children!  The book fair will take place in the school library and each class will have a designated time to visit.  It will also be open to everyone before and after school.  

Bedtime Story Jam - September 27, 2024

To cap off the school bookfair, we invite families to come back to school in the evening for Bedtime Story Jam. Dressed in PJs, students can attend sessions to hear children’s books read by their authors, enjoy milk and cookies, and cultivate a lifelong love of literature.

Halloween Hoot - October 27, 2024

A neighborhood tradition since 1947, Hoot is a Halloween carnival complete with game booths, inflatables, an epic haunted house, bake sale, prizes, food court, and more. All families are asked to volunteer at least 2 hours for set up, running game booths, and clean up.

Multicultural Week - December 9-13, 2024

In December, Multicultural Week celebrates the diversity of our community. Celebrate your heritage by donating art or artifacts for the museum, sharing music, art, or other traditions in your child’s classroom, and bringing food to share with the whole class for their heritage feast. 

Campus Clean-Up Day - January 11, 2025

Each January, parent volunteers clean classrooms and common areas around campus. We need your help to show our teachers how much they are appreciated and to make our campus shine!

Jogathon - January 25, 2025 (Fundraising Event)

The Jogathon is a FUNdraising event that raises money to pay for improvements to our outdoor areas, new PE equipment, and supports our children's physical activities.  Attended by many of the teachers, this is truly a fun school-wide event! 

100^th Day of School - January 31, 2025

This year marks our school’s 100^th anniversary! Join us for a centennial celebration on the 100th day of school and purchase a brick for the patio to commemorate this once in a lifetime event.

Art Madness - February 25-27, 2025

Art Madness is a weeklong volunteer run after school art program that encourages students to use their imagination and creativity to reflect upon a given theme through a variety of mediums such as painting, fashion design, wood turning, advertising, creative writing, and much more.

Auction Gala - March 8, 2025 (Fundraising Event)

Our spring auction is a fun-filled adults-only gala, as well as, an online auction, where WWC families can bid on donated items, kids' activities, and one-of-a-kind experiences!

Science Slam - April 26, 2025

Science Slam is a celebration of STEM with rocket launches, demonstrations, and hands on experiments for all ages. We welcome help with set up, clean up and organization, running labs, experiments, concession stands, and ticket booths. Join us for an amazing day of science!

Teacher Appreciation Week - May 5-9, 2025

A weeklong celebration of all the people who make this school an incredible place to learn and grow. Show our teachers, aids, and staff just how much they are appreciated.
